Version history and restoring an earlier version

Every extension keeps a version history, and you can go back to any of them.
Where it is
The branch icon above the preview. It opens a list of versions with the current one marked at the top.
What each entry shows
The version number, when it was made, roughly how many files changed, and a short description of what happened. The first entry is always your initial generation.
Diff
Shows exactly what changed in that version, file by file. Worth a look before restoring, so you know what you are going back to.
Restore
Puts the extension back to that version.
Nothing is lost when you restore
Restoring takes a snapshot of where you are now before it moves you back. So if you restore an old version and decide you preferred the newer one, it is still there.
How many are kep
Up to ten per extension. Once you pass ten the oldest ones drop off, so if there is a state you know you want to keep, download it.
