How to activate your AppSumo lifetime deal

There is no code to copy and nothing to paste. Activation is one button on AppSumo and a sign-in on our side.

Before you start

Decide which PlugThis account you want the deal on, because the licence binds to whichever account you are signed into when you activate, and it cannot be moved afterwards. If you already have a PlugThis account, make sure that is the one you sign in with.

The steps

  1. Go to your AppSumo account and open Products.

  2. Find PlugThis AI and click Activate now. You have 60 days from purchase to do this, and the deadline is shown next to the product.

  3. You land on PlugThis. If you are already signed in, activation happens on its own. If not, you will see Sign in to redeem. Sign in, or create your account, with Google.

  4. You will see You're all set! with your tier confirmed. Click Start building.

That is the whole thing. There is no code field because our licensing does not use codes.

Checking it worked

Open your billing page. You should see three things at the top: your License Tier, a Lifetime · AppSumo badge, and Active.

Below that you will find your generations for the month, the date they reset, and your seat count. Your allowance resets on the same day each month, counted from the day you activated rather than the first of the month. Unused generations do not roll over.

There is no recurring billing on a lifetime deal. Nothing will be charged again.

Changing your tier

You do not stack codes with PlugThis. To move up or down, use Change plan on the PlugThis AI product page in your AppSumo account.

You only pay the difference. What you already paid is applied as credit against the new tier, so moving from Tier 1 to Tier 2 costs the gap between them rather than the full Tier 2 price.

Upgrades can be made at any time while the deal is still available on AppSumo. Downgrades go through AppSumo's 60-day refund policy. Once the campaign ends the deal comes off AppSumo and tiers can no longer be changed, so if you think you will want more, it is worth deciding before then.

Your new tier appears in PlugThis straight away. Your reset date does not change.

If something goes wrong

You activated on the wrong account. The licence binds to the account you signed in with and cannot be transferred. Email support@plugthis.ai with your AppSumo purchase email and we will sort it out manually.

Nothing happened after you clicked Activate. Go back to AppSumo, open the Actions menu next to the product, and choose Redemption information to try again.

You saw "Redemption failed." Click Try again first, as this is usually a sign-in that did not complete. If it fails twice, use Contact support on that screen and tell us what the message said.

Your billing page still says you are on a free plan. This usually means the sign-in step never finished. Open the Activate link from AppSumo once more while signed in to PlugThis. If it still does not take, email us.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by AppSumo, not by us, within 60 days of purchase. See "Refunds: how the AppSumo 60-day policy works".
